CERTIFIED, NOT ENGINEERED
Despite their similar outward appearance, it’s the bollard technology and testing process that determines how well your assets will be protected.ännTTM bollards are certified and engineered, not just engineered. This means that each individual bollard is rigorously tested to ensure it is ready for any challenge the real world presents. Engineered bollards, on the other hand, are manufactured to set specifications that have not been officially crash-tested. An engineered bollard without certification may or may not meet real-world standards, which is a riskännTTM is not willing to take. If it’s fromännTTM, it’s certified.

HOW ARE BOLLARdS USED?
01
Restrict
A row of bollards can easily define and restrict vehicle access to a pedestrian area. Typically fixed, which means they will permanently prohibit
and define access. Fixed bollards are available in non-rated, K4, M30, K12 and M50 ratings.
02
control
To allow occasional or infrequent vehicle access, removable or semiautomatic bollards are required. When more frequent access is required, use fully automatic bollards. Removable and semiautomatic bollards are available in several ratings.
03
protect
In situations where it is determined that vehicular intrusion risk exists but is moderate, C40, K4 and M30 certified bollards will provide the level of protection needed to prevent accidental or intentional damage. Available in all versions.
04
secure
K12/M50 certified bollards are recommended when the highest level of protection is required. The K12/M50 certified bollards will stop a 6,800 kg (15,000 lb) vehicle travelling at 80 km/h (50 mph). The K12/M50 series is also available.
